"I have had the opportunity to hunt several states with different
outfitters but for a southern boy my expectations of Illinois were very
high. I have watched countless hunting shows highlighting the Mid-
West and this trip far exceeded my expectations. In 5 days I saw more
racked bucks than I have seen in the last 5 seasons. Hunting with
Backwoods Outfitters was the greatest hunting experience I have ever
had. These guys could not work harder, and not just to make sure you
are well taken care of but to make sure you have the best chance
possible at harvesting a buck of a lifetime. Hunting with these guys
was like hunting with your buddies. Backwoods Outfitters was not
about the quantity of hunts offered but the quality of the hunt offered. I
can’t imagine a deer season without a trip to Illinois to hang out and
hunt with these guys. Awesome, Awesome, and Awesome."

second to none! Me and my buddies were placed in great places to be
able to take a trophy whitetail. I was able to take a 145 inch 9 pointer.
That was one of 4 shooter bucks I saw that morning. The biggest being
an 11 point which will probably score around 170 inches. He was at 65
yards just out of range but if he survives til next year I WILL BE BACK!
Both of my buddies that were with me saw shooters as well. We have
already booked for next year! Thanks Matt and Jeff for making my
experience top notch !!!"
